It’s so easy to complain, to see the bad and to feel like life is too hard. Sometimes life is difficult and when struggle comes our way, it is easy to throw in the towel and exclaim, “I’m done, I can’t take another disappointment, disaster, death or discouragement.

The Lord replies, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Even in the darkest days, God’s promises are true. He is longsuffering and waits patiently with us.

I am learning to be thankful for my struggle because without it I wouldn’t have discovered my strength.

“Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5

Time and time again I can look through the memories of my heart. The bad times and the hard times, the instances of heartbreak and the times when I felt I didn’t have enough. My attitude of gratitude made all the difference in getting through the challenge with a feeling of hope and sometimes even joy.

Father, help us to have an attitude of gratitude and in everything give You thanks.

Very timely Tamara. This is encouraging. Gratitude is so healing. And like Pastor said today, the “wilderness is God’s divine bootcamp”.
